I went to City Hall and requested the cover letters and résumés of the finalists being considered for Lowell's next City Manager. These documents are vital to understanding how each candidate chose to 'project themselves' for evaluation. The choices they made, in their biography and professional attributes, are their first tangible effort to craft a narrative that can be told about them, as they proceed through the process.
